Connie - pet diary
Monday 11th July am; Connie and I had our final cuddle this morning, and I told her that her mum would be back later today. I watered the plants in the house as the ones outside were pretty damp following all the rain yesterday. Connie waited patiently as I washed up and then she tucked into her poultry food this morning, munching away happily. The fishes chomped on their pellets and the sun was up and out as I opened up the blinds and curtains - then said my final goodbye to Connie.
Sunday 10th July am; Connie was curled up on the sofa and half opened her eyes to see me then decided to have her usual Sunday lay in and went back to dozing. So I opened up the curtains and blinds and prepared her food and left sleeping beauty in peace.
pm; Connie was wide awake and ran over to see me this evening. She and I had a cuddle and she sat in my arms as I opened up the curtains and blinds. Connie was hungry and after I washed up her bowls, she munched down on her food happily chomping away.
Saturday 9th July; Connie was asleep on the dining table this morning, so she's getting more adventurous! We had out morning cuddles, then she followed me around as I fed the fishes and saw to the plants and opened up the curtains and blinds. I then prepared her food and water and Connie wasted no time in eating away.
PM; Connie was asleep on the sofa and jumped down for a stroke and fuss. This evening Connie dived into her chicken wet food and ate very loudly indeed as I went about closing the curtains and blinds.
Friday 8th July; I popped the black bin out for the bin men who were down the road and then went to say hello to Connie who ran into the dining area pleased to see me (and have her food). I washed up her bowls and sorted out her food - tuna this morning and Connie tucked in, eating away very loudly indeed! I checked the plants and sorted out the curtains before leaving Connie, who was still munching, to enjoy her breakfast in peace.
PM; Connie was dozing in the dining room area this evening and stretched and meowed hello when I arrived. I had pulled the black bin around and went out to eck on the fish and plants and gave them a munch on their pellets. Connie was waiting for her food and weaved around me as I washed up her bowl and she tucked into her chicken as I closed the curtains and blinds. I stroked Connie as she ate and she purred away.
Thursday 7th July; Connie has spent this week on the opposite sofa to last week, so once again she was on the same spot this morning. She purred as I made a fuss of her and then Connie watched me from the dining area open up the curtains and blinds as I chatted to her. Connie did her usual hop from one paw to another as she watched me wash up and dry her bowls and then Connie wasted no time in munching down on her breakfast, chomping loudly away. I popped the rubbish from her bin outside and said goodbye to Connie until later.
PM; Connie hopped onto the floor and padded over to say hello. She enjoyed a fuss and a cuddle then I carried her around with me as I prepared her food and water, closed the curtains and blinds. Connie dived into her dinner and chomped away happily.

PM; Connie meowed hello as I came in and she hopped off the sofa to see me. Connie joined me outside as I fed the fishes and Darth enjoyed a munch down. The weather has been very odd - sunny/rainy on and off, so the plants outside looked ok. I watered the indoor plants and then set about preparing Connie's dinner.

Monday 4th July; Connie was in the same position as yesterday, still looking sleepy. However, she woke up and enjoyed a fuss and purred as I chatted and stroked her. Connie watched me in the kitchen sort out her food and she then nose dived into the bowl as soon as it hit the floor.

I had a little chat to your neighbour and the friendly cat from over the road wanted lots of fuss and attention and I was happy to oblige.
